The Aquario Neo Skimmer was designed as an accessory for the . The purpose of the Neo Skimmer is to remove surface oils from an aquarium without too much distraction. Typical aquarium lily pipe surface skimmers are located on the inflow pipe and are large in comparison. The classic lily pipe surface skimmer design generally functions well, however, it can be rendered ineffective and non-functional if the water level of an aquarium falls below a certain point. In addition, the size of a typical lily pipe surface skimmer is much larger in design in order to match the lily pipe sizing. This is not the case with the Aquario Neo Skimmer. It should be attached to the outflow which means little to no distraction and will not hinder the performance of an aquarium canister filter if the water level drops below it. The height can also be adjusted to user preference and provide the most effective performance.

The Aquario Neo Skimmer can also be used in conjunction with the in order to create an added gentler flow. This is perfect for fish keepers who have more flow sensitive fish and shrimp such as Bettas, Ricefish, Guppies, Neo Caridina, Caridina, and much more.

The Aquario Neo Skimmer can be fully disassembled for quick and easy cleaning and is made from durable PETG material as opposed to glass. However, excessive force can still break or crack this product. Please handle with care.
