A generally easy to care for species, care should be taken not to stock with larger species.

Can grow to 3cm

Where in the world are they from?
Only found in the Rio Madeira basin in Brazil.

What is the ideal number to keep together?
Should ideally be kept in groups of 4 or more.

What water conditions do they require?
Will happily live in a wide range of water conditions. Temperature ranges from 23 - 27 degrees C with a pH range of 6.0 - 7.5.

What should you feed them?
Feed on and foods that sink to the bottom of the aquarium but should be subsidised with Algae or Catfish pellets. All sinking foods should be very small to accomodate for the size of this small corydoras.

How compatible are they with other fish?
Largely compatible with a range of species, will coexist with a wide range of smaller fish in community aquariums including shrimp.
