Echinodorus Fancy Twist is an attractive variation of aquatic sword plant that is undemanding in care and grows moderately. When kept in submerged conditions, Echinodorus Fancy Twist offers bright color ranging from bright green to deep red tones with new leaves displaying a spotted pattern before maturing. When emersed, this aquatic plant is fully green with relatively tough foliage. Like other sword plants, Echinodorus Fancy Twist requires minimal care, but needs a nutrient-rich substrate and moderate lighting. Other than this, the plant will readily adapt to a wide range of parameters and is tolerant of neglect to an extent.

Even so, providing the right conditions will allow this cultivar to shine in the aquarium. We recommend stable temperatures, a good maintenance routine, CO2 injection and quality source of both macro and micro nutrients for aquatic plant growth.
