Product Description

Cryptocoryne Wendtii Kompakt is a beautiful selection for Cryptocoryne fans. This cryptocoryne species features smooth chocolatey-brown, slightly ruffled leaves that remain relatively compact, as its name suggests. Cryptocoryne Wendtii Kompakt's small size makes it suitable for the foreground to midground aquatic plant choice in a planted aquarium tank. Like most cryptocoryne species, this aquatic plant is fairly easy going and does not require special care to grow properly. Cryptocoryne Wendtii Kompakt's care is similar to that of other cryptocoryne species, , and . Although this aquarium plant grows at a slow pace, given the correct care, it will form dense tufts of foliage that will add a lovely touch to any size planted aquarium tank. With all aquarium plants, we recommend using a quality aquarium LED light, CO2 injection and nutrient dense aquarium soil to yield the best results.

To propagate, simply cut off new plantlets growing from the mother rhizome.

Tissue culture aquatic plants are grown in-vitro by laboratories who specialize in propagating aquatic plants. There is a huge selection of plant species that have been propagated this way. This is truly the best option for those who want absolutely zero unwanted pests, algae and pesticides. This makes them perfect for shrimp keepers and any planted tank enthusiasts alike.

NOTE: It is important to remove the tissue culture agar gel before planting. Simply wash the gel away, divide, and plant.
