Echinodorus Leopard is a beautiful Amazon Sword specimen that works well in the background area of a planted aquarium or as a single aquatic plant display. Echinodorus Leopard is primarily green in color with scattered spotting throughout its leaves. Spots are more apparent in younger growth and typically fades as the plant matures, producing a mottled appearance. Like other Amazon Sword plants, Echinodorus Leopard is a heavy root feeder and requires a nutrient-dense aqua soil to support healthy growth. Echinodorus species are typically very hardy and adaptable, making the species a great choice for beginner aquascapers. Echinodorus can be grown in submerged and emersed conditions, making the plant suitable for both aquarium settings and terrarium or Wabi Kusa applications.
