Product Description

IMPORTANT: Our bunched and potted aquarium plants may vary in growth forms. Because of this, please understand how to properly transition and acclimate plant(s) into desired form(s). We do our best to thoroughly clean and inspect all plants prior to shipment but cannot guarantee lead bunch or potted plants to be free from snails and/or algae. Not your thing? Please consider purchasing tissue culture aquarium plants.

LIVE PLANTS ARE SUSCEPTIBLE TO STRESS AND DAMAGE FROM TRANSIT - This may appear in the form of minimal melt, leaf loss, cosmetic damage, etc. Refunds or replacements will not be issued for plants with viable root systems.

Ludwigia are beautiful stem plants that are commonly seen in the background area of the aquarium!

Ludwigia Glandulosa AKA Diamond Ludwigia is a less common Ludwigia variation with a unique coloring. If kept in ideal conditions its leaves are green on top and red underneath but can vary depending on its environment. Diamond Ludwigia plants have oval, pointed leaves that grow in opposite pairs along the stem that can be green, gold, orange, or red. This plant is extremely attractive when planted in bunches of 10-12 stems and add amazing color variation to any planted tank.

To achieve the most desired colors, high lighting and nutrients are required. CO2 is optional but aids in speeding up growth while high iron content will contribute to the reddening of the plant. Propagation can be achieved by taking cuttings from the main stem of the plant and replanting into quality substrate.
