Found in southern India within the Tunga river system

What is the ideal number to keep together?
Should not be kept singly as they will become very shy and withdrawn. Ideally kept in groupsof 5 or more.

What water conditions do they require?
Will happily live in a wide range of water conditions. However most specimens will be happiest between 21 - 25 degrees C with pH range of 6.0 - 7.5

What should you feed them?
Should be fed a mix of sinking pellets and frozen foods

How compatible are they with other fish?
Generally peaceful, however avoid keeping with micro species such as Rasbora and Danio. Do not keep with Shrimp.
