Product Description

Bucephalandra Skeleton King is the original Skeleton King species in the Bucephalandra family. Boasting the same large foliage and rich coloration, Bucephalandra Skeleton King's leaves feature a distinct pattern on its leaves that earns its name. Like all Bucephalandra species, Buce Skeleton King has a hardy nature and is fairly adaptable to a wide range of aquarium tank parameters. It can be grown submerged or emersed and grows exceptionally well in low-tech conditions without lacking in unique character. Under optimal conditions, this Buce aquatic plant will produce varying hues that contrast well in a planted aquarium tank. Bucephalandra Skeleton King's care is comparable to that of Anubias species and while it grows slowly, if this aquatic plant is given proper care, having patience will be generously rewarded. Buce Skeleton King is a good choice for beginner aquarists and also provides refuge for smaller freshwater aquarium tank inhabitants such as smaller shrimp or fry. Bucephalandra can also be used in many ways and does not require being planted in aquarium tank substrate.
