Cryptocoryne Spiralis 'Tiger' is a unique aquarium plant that features long ribbon-like leaves with a striped pattern that earns its name. Similar to other long leafed Cryptocoryne plants, Cryptoroyne Spiralis Tiger is an ideal aquarium plant for the midground to background area of a planted aquarium. Its vertical height combined with its mixture of reddish-brown to olive green leaves provides movement and a blended transition to other areas of a planted aquarium. Overall, Cryptocoryne Spiralis Tiger is a great choice for jungle-style or biotope inspired aquascapes.

Cryptocoryne aquarium plants have a repuation for being easy care plants—this is true when the plant is mature and has developed a strong, healthy root system. In the beginning stages, Cryptocoryne plants can be susceptible to melt if moved too frequently or water conditions aren't stable. To mitigate effects, we recommend planting Cryptocoryne Spiralis Tiger (and other crypt plants) in an established, cycled aquarium when possible. Supplement this aquarium plant with moderate lighting and quality aquarium soil or aquatic plant root tabs if using sand / gravel.
