Lagenandra Meeboldii Red is fairly hardy but does require quality aquarium lighting to develop a rich coloration. If provided with optimal conditions, this aquatic plant will grow relatively wide and will fill up a good amount of space within a planted aquarium tank with beautiful foliage ranging in shades of greens, oranges, reddish-bronze, and even violet tones. New leaves on this aquatic plant are pale pink and will slowly color up as the aquatic plant matures. Lagenandra Meeboldii Red does not produce underground runners but has a thick rhizome.
