Product Description

Hygrophila Pinnatifida is a relatively rarer aquatic plant in the aquarium hobby. This aquatic plant features green and bronze hues on the upper side of its leaves and possesses a notorious deep red hue on the underside. A classic plant to use in aquascape layouts, Hygrophila Pinnatifida makes a beautiful addition to any planted aquarium tank. Its care requirements isn't too difficult so long as the water is kept clean and quality aquarium lighting is provided. Compact growth  can be encouraged through frequent trimming and high light. Dosing additional nutrients, such as Iron, will also help to bring out the deep coloration that is, more often than not, the goal of keeping this aquatic plant. In addition, this unique aquatic plant can be attached to aquarium hardscape such as driftwood or rock instead of being planted directed in planted tank substrate.
